After a year in each other's bodies—a year of hardship for both Andy and Megan as they tried to adjust to their new lives—Megan had asked to meet Andy to discuss their situation.
The waiter placed a big plate of pasta in front of Andy, who was dressed more like a woman than the last time she’d seen him. He looked like he was embracing the fashion his new body allowed him.
“So, what’s this dinner in aid of then?” Andy asked, taking a bite of his food. His face lit up in shock—it was so tasty that he started doing a little dance in his chair.
“I think after a year of not swapping back, it’s time we had a chat about moving on with our lives,” Megan began, but Andy cut across her.
“Move on? Sure, sounds great. I’m having a great time in your body. Of course, there are some things I don’t like—like periods, they suck—but I’m kind of in love with this body now.”
“Oh, okay... I was expecting you to maybe be against the idea of... Hold on, what do you mean you love my body?”
“Look, it’s been a year. I’ve had to, you know, shower and stuff, so I’ve seen your body naked and I’ve—”
“Stop! I don’t need to know. I guess that’s understandable. We’re both young and have urges.” Megan put her hand out as she spoke, making it clear she didn’t think he’d done anything weird in her body—just the things he had to do to live her life.
After talking and eating, and discussing what moving on really meant, they decided it was probably best not to stay in contact. To go their separate ways and live the lives they now had.
They paid the bill and hugged. This was it—the last time they would ever see their original bodies.
Would you like this refined further into a full narrative or formatted like a screenplay scene?
